  1. I presume you've seen "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"? If not, it's an absolute must - one of the first and best of the new breed of epic martial arts melodramas.
  2. The Kungfu Master and Revenge of the Kungfu Master by Donny Yen. Legend and Legend 2 by Jet li Drunken Master by Jackie Chen Any Brucelee movies all five of them The remake of Fist of Fury by DOnny Yen
  3. have to go with crouching tiger hidden dragon on this one
  4. The Blade and Seven Swords by Tsui Hark are great.
  5. House of Flying Daggers Zu Warriors Kung Fu Hustle The Promise- a bit hokey but enjoyed it Bruce Lee Films
  6. if you enjoy martial arts movies maybe yu might like to get into some japanese movies. Start off with Akira Kurosawa and his cool movies like The Seven Samurai and The Hidden Fortress. Lots of sword action and drama and this director was an inspiration to directors to come. The Seven Samurai was the movie which inspired The Magnificent 7.
  7. the one - jet li great
  8. Sammo Hung's "Magnificent Butcher", "The Prodigal Son", "Encounters Of The Spooky Kind" and "Warriors Two". Jackie Chan's "Drunken Master" I & II, and "The Young Master" Donnie Yen in "Iron Monkey" Any of Jet Li's are worth a look, I haven't seen a bad one. "The Tai Chi Master" and "Fong Sai Yuk" are two of my faves. All of which are post-Bruce Lee. You could get even more old-school, but for me the fights aren't so good in the real oldies.
