Deadly Chinese Martial Arts?

I don't know how to call this type of martial arts in English, anyway I wonder if anyone have information about this Chinese martial arts which uses weakness of human body.. Like using needles to certain part of arm to paralyze the person's arm, or use the trained finger for a deadly damage.. Or is this just a fiction..

  1. You are talking about Dim Mak.... Check out this guy's website about this subject: http://www.taijiworld.com/ He literally wrote a book on the subject. As for fact or fiction.... Undecided. But there are plenty of ppl out there trying to sell "secrets of Dim Mak" for a quick buck. Beware.
  2. Well, there's a movie by Jet Li called Kiss of the Dragon. This is the movie that has him doing deadly accupuncture. I think that the name is called "Dim Mak" made popular by Jean Claude Van Damm in the movie "Bloodsports" Is this fiction ?, the movies perhaps, but when certain strikes are applied with enough force in certain areas of the human body, paralysis or death can be a realistic result.
  3. I just posted this as an answer to another post but i will repost it here also: Actually there is the Dim Mak, Dim Hsueh & Hung Sha Dzung. They are REAL. My Sensei, Master Roy Lee Osborne III has actually done demonstrations of the use and reversal of the techniques. I have been a martial artist for 30+ years and had heard about it and saw a demonstration of it on Ripleys Believe it or not, but when I started training with my new Sensei he showed me that there is another whole world that seems mystical but is very real. I now study and practice Okinawan ShorinShirinjiRyu, Tuite and Kyusho-Tuite is inside Grappling, Kyusho is Pressure Points..The use of Dim Mak and others can be focused to either cause immediate death or delayed reactions. The Human anatamy has an amazing amount of meridians that when triggered can interrupt the central nervous system. These techniques are only taught to the Highest ranked and most capable Martial Artists. I personally only know of My Sensei... 4. Fiction. While there are pressure points and nerve clusters that can cause pain, and there are freak occurances that can occur and cause sustainable damage, the "deadly" Chinese secret stuff is mostly fiction. Don't trust someone's word for, trust the sheer amount of evidence against it. Why is there no stories about some Dim mak practitioner disabling a would be attacker? Why no accidental deaths from a Martial Artist who just lost control, but yet a dozen stories or so a year about Martial Artists being killed by a random thug with a gun or knife. Show me one actual factual evidence. Check out guys like James Rhandi who has spent his lifetime debunking guys like this. http://www.randi.org/ Check out http://www.bullshido.com where they have numerous videos of "Chi masters" getting worked over by amateur level fighters. Find medical evidence stating conclusive evidence of acupuncture and acupressure working beyond that of a placebo effect. In short, it is fiction, part of the mysticism brought over to help sell Martial Arts, and part of Asian mythology. Just my two cents, I am sure there are many convinved otherwise. However I have been subject to many such "Dim Mak" strikes from Wing Chun, and Shaolin practitioners while testing each other and seeing weaknesses in our techniques or forms. (Me doing MMA, etc, them seeing how they would try to counter chokes, arm bars, being mounted, etc.) I can tell you with all certainity, my organs, neverous system, are all completely in..........t.....a......c.....t....arrrrrrrgghhhh.... what is happening to me......owwwww.......oh no........my spleen.... they....were....rrrrriiiiggghhhhttt..... Anyways, it's all BS. Nothing more factual than Tarot cards, John Edward, and no touch knockouts. Just my opinion, gained after a ton of research after spending some of my youth in ninjitsu. A lifetime of experience, and a ton of Martial Arts.
  5. May not be fiction (I don't know) but (if it's real) it takes such a long time learning all the points how they work, accuracy and programing to hit, and how, these points. After all the time spent just to be proficient, you could master a style with very simple strikes where you get to experience the heat of battle. I pay very little attention to these schools (which many are fake, below is a link that made me laugh), so to answer your question. I dunno.
  6. It is not fiction. And I am glad no one came on here explaining detail as some have incorrectly tried to. Dim Mak/Dim Hsueh is a real science. Felix Mann's book called - Acupuncture: The Ancient Chinese Art of Healing and How It Works Scientifically Explains how it works for all you non-believers. It is the same as the healing acupuncture but... different.
  7. Dim Hsueh is true deadly, but not everyone able to deliver it with enough strength, speed and accuracy. It's all Physics concepts in here: Force = Mass * Acceleration, so same mass and higher acceleration = higher force. Now Pressure = Force / Area, so apply same Force to smaller area increase the pressure at the contact point (example of a needle) Image how much area of a tip of a needle or a knife, maybe order of thousandth of a punch, so the pressure at contact point is much greater.
  8. It is real but only to a certain extent. Dim Mak isn't a system all by itself. Many systems of Martial Arts use Dim Mak to help in the effectiveness of the techniques. There are some pretty creepy things that can be done to the human body using pressure points. People must understand though, that it CAN NOT be done without touching the opponent.
